Photo Editing

This is an example of photo editing where I added a "chalk drawing" to the stairs. The starting image on the left is a photo from Freepik.com (link below). I created the image texture (orange design) as a tiled design in Illustrator where I initially used it for curtains in a 3D rendering of a room. To this photo, I also added highlights to the texture and a soft shadow under the man's body.

This is a high school photo from the 1960's that had some damage so I cleaned it up and restored some of its original color.

This is the before and after image to commemorate a family's beach vacation. I liked that it was just the vacationer's feet. The camera strap was an unintentional addition, so I removed it for them. Prints were made of the final result.

This is a photo of my mother. She only had the one print and grape juice was spilled on the photo years ago. Initially, I just cleaned up the black and white image, then went on to make it into a painting for my grandparents. The final result was printed on canvas.

Here in this section are some before and after results of photo-editing either to improve upon the image, remove damage or rework to have a painterly style.
